Welcome to a transformative weekend retreat dedicated to the art of Shibari.
An invitation to meet yourself through slowness and presence.
To feel the dance between holding and being held.
To awaken the silent language of the body—where presence becomes pleasure, and stillness becomes power.
Designed exclusively for women, this retreat delves into the grounding and calming practices of rope work. Inviting an intimate group of Maximim 12 women to come together in honesty.
✧ What to Expect ✧
Over the weekend, we’ll explore Shibari through a variety of practices designed to bring you home to your body and deepen your inner awareness.
– Grounding & Embodiment: Slow, somatic practices that use the rope as a tool for anchoring into presence and sensation.
– Emotional Exploration: Space to feel, express, and soften—using rope as a mirror for your own emotional landscape.
– Touch & Trust: Opportunities to experience being held, witnessed, and supported—both in partnered rope and in group explorations.
– Conscious Communication: Practices that support clarity, boundaries, consent, and honest expression, rooted in kindness and curiosity.
– Solo, Paired & Group Work: A mix of individual, partnered, and shared experiences that invite you into connection—first with yourself, and then with others.
✧ Who is it for? ✧
This retreat is for women who feel called to explore Shibari as a path to embodiment, presence, and self-discovery.
You don’t need to come with experience—only with a willingness to listen to your body and follow what feels true. Whether you arrive alone or with someone you trust, you’ll be welcomed into a space of honesty, softness, and curiosity.
We will explore rope through solo practices, partner work, and group experiences. You’ll be invited to move in your own rhythm—sometimes staying with one person, other times shifting gently or exploring within the group.
To fully participate, it’s important that you feel at ease with physical closeness and have a basic awareness of your own boundaries. You will be supported every step of the way in feeling your yes, your no, and everything in between.
This retreat is held by and for women. If you identify and move through the world as a woman and feel drawn to this work, you are welcome.
✧ Your Guide – Karen Schov ✧
I am passionate about pleasure—its softness, its spark, its power to reconnect us with life. I believe pleasure shows up in many forms: in sensation, in slowness, in depth, in play.
I create calm, grounded spaces where people can show up just as they are. Where vulnerability is welcome, and where curiosity can become the gateway to something new. Through private sessions, workshops, retreats, and goddess circles, I invite others to feel more, expand their truth, and come back into connection with themselves.
Rope has been part of my world for nearly a decade. It has shown me how to lean into support, how to hold and be held, how to listen with the body rather than the mind. Whether tying myself, guiding others, or holding someone as they surrender into the rope—I continue to be amazed at the depth, intimacy, and awakening this practice can offer.
